Little League Footballs NEW SUPPLY! SPECIAL OFFER!!
The success of the LLF footballs has encouraged the NEC to
order another 1,000 balls.
The Mitre Orion balls have the same green flashes and the LLF logo as
before, and we have managed to reduce the price to just £4.00 each - cheaper than you can buy anywhere else
with the added advantage that the unique design makes them harder for the kids to
'accidentally' take home.
As before, they will not be sold to players or the public.

New leaflets
A new "Parents Guide" leaflet has been added to the range supplied free of charge by the NEC.
Aimed at both new and existing parents, the colourful leaflet is intended to encourage sporting behaviour and support
from parents. Leagues may like to issue it to all their parents at the start of the season - perhaps
slipping a copy inside each fixture list, or accompanying the Code of Conduct.

Criminal Records Bureau
In Little League Football, the protection of the children comes
first. We must check all volunteers through the Criminal
Records Bureau. That's not just a
Little League rule - it's also the law.
If you haven't yet been checked, the 'Responsible Person' at your
League will be in touch with you to help you fill in a form. It
takes about 10 minutes of your time, and you will need to show proof of
who you are and where you live. There are very strict rules on
confidentiality.
The system is designed to stop the wrong sort of person getting
involved in children's organisations, and we thank you for your
co-operation. If you would like to know more, please ask your
Responsible Person in the first place.

League Liaison Officers
All NEC officers have taken on a new role as League Liaison Officers (LO’s), this is in
addition to whatever else they may be doing. The job of the LO will be
to work closely with their designated leagues giving all leagues direct
representation on the NEC.
This initiative
will ensure that the NEC will be truly representative of the grass roots
membership of Little League, as well as speeding up vital
communications. Details have been sent to your League Secretary.
