The following items are included for your convenience - but Leagues are free to amend the wording and design if they so wish.
If you have a computer and use Microsoft Word, the LLF logo and forms are available on floppy disk or via email from the National Executive.
Specimens of other Leagues' forms, programmes etc are readily available.

Dear Mr Mayor,

East Cheam Little League Football is to commence its first season on Saturday, 7th September at The Sidney James Memorial Recreation Ground and we wish to invite you and the Mayoress to be our Guests of Honour to officially declare the League open.

If you are pleased to accept, the morning will commence at 9.45 a.m. with a parade of the six teams, after which you will be introduced to the Team Managers and players. A Public Address system will be available and light refreshments will be provided.

We sincerely hope you are able to attend and upon your acceptance, I will forward a detailed timetable of events.

Little League Football, briefly outlined in the enclosed leaflet, is a unique concept of children's football.

Since our inception in 1968, some 40 Leagues have been formed in South London, Surrey and the West Midlands involving over 6,000 boys and girls, and some 1,000 volunteer adults.

A new League is being formed in East Cheam, and we are seeking Sponsors for each of the first six teams. The amount of the Sponsorship is not fixed - but we would envisage a sum of, say, £40 or more each season.

I write to ask if your Company might consider becoming a Team Sponsor and would appreciate the opportunity of visiting you to discuss the matter in greater depth. We should be pleased for you to name the team, and would ensure that your company received recognition in the Opening Day programme.
