The Tournament is governed by a Sub-Committee of the National Executive. They review the Tournament rules each year and welcome suggestions and feedback from the local Leagues.
Invitations to take part are sent out each autumn to local Leagues.
Each League appoints two Team Managers who select and train a team in accordance with the rules.
Leagues are invited to provide the facilities to host the early rounds of the Tournament, and all Leagues are encouraged to volunteer one or more qualified Referees.
The Tournament currently proceeds on a straight knock out basis and is zonal until the semi-final stage.
The Final takes place at a neutral prestigious location. |
